On November 12, 2020, Academician Nianzhi jiao was invited to participate in the "2020 Marine eco-economy international forum " to discuss with nearly 100 experts and scholars in the field of marine ecological economy from China, the United Kingdom, Sweden and other countries. The theme of this forum is "Integrated Development of Marine Ecology and Marine Industry" and the "Implementation of Ocean Negative Emissions and Practice of Carbon Neutrality Strategy Proposal" was released. Professor Jiao made a report entitled "Implementing Ocean Negative Emissions and Practicing Carbon Neutrality Strategy", analyzing the pressure and carbon sink exports faced by China under global climate change, and proposing a package for the reference of Belt and Road countries "Ocean Negative emission comprehensive engineering technology”.
