On July 2, 2021, Professor Nianzhi jiao, as a representative of the Chinese side, was invited to attend the "2020-2021 Sino Japanese high-level scientists Seminar and Exchange Activity (Marine Environment), discussed with scientists from Japan, Australia and other countries, and made a report on “Microbial carbon sequestration in the ocean”. This event discussed and exchanged topics such as Marine environment and climate change, Marine fishery biological resources protection and Marine microplastics, and will provide scientific reference and suggestions for Marine environmental protection of belt and Road coastal countries.
